Covering North & West Africa (Morocco, Algeria & Tunisia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin…), you are responsible for developing turnover and market shares in the area, coordinating resources starting with the management of the local sales team and the distributors and designing the appropriate actions plan to increase the adoption of our solutions. 


Key Responsibilities 


  • Manage and lead the Sales team in the Area, manage Adisseo Key Accounts including relationship, strategy, development, budgeting and distributor/agent relationships applying contract terms and clauses.
  • Act as the key interface between the customer, the distributor/agent, and all relevant divisions of Adisseo and develop unique ways to grow the business.
  • Apply the commercial policy following management guidelines on prices, volumes and credit management but detecting opportunities and using Adisseo unique product line leverage. 
  • Forecast accurately, and monthly, sales of all Adisseo product line in the Area and aligning the sales team accordingly. 
  • Plan and manage Adisseo product sales at the level of the Area for all non-key accounts, through Distributors or not, to execute and achieve the Area Business Plans. 
  • Evaluate and assess the overall effectiveness and also give pertinent suggestion about resources allocation and particularly at the distributors/agent’s level.
  • Analyze and understand the matrix of players in animal, feed and premix production in the Area, the relations between different players within the Area and their influence on a country, European or global level.
  • Master key technical messages, value propositions, positioning and target customers regarding Adisseo product line and services. 
  • Control and manage the overall expenditures in the Area to promote Adisseo brands and products.
  •  Keep the distributors and/or agents updated on the Adisseo corporate information and attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.



Profile

 

  • Agricultural engineering, Nutritionist, DVM, Marketing or Business degree (optional) with more than 5 years’ experience in the feed industry in technical, marketing and/or sales positions.
  • Good knowledge of the animal nutrition or health market.
  • French and English fluent are required for this position.
  • 70% of the time travelling.
  • Autonomous, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate and take decisions. Time management, persuasive and confident.
