For our entity in Morocco, we are looking for a Registration Specialist NWA (CDD) to join our Agriculture Solutions team.
The position will be based in Casablanca , Morocco.
Role Summary
- To provide the Regulatory organization across the North West Africa region with:
- to establish &/or maintain the necessary licences to sell (in country registrations, up to date product labels, directions of use & product stewardship) in the region.
- engaging & interacting with the relevant, country specific Regulatory Authorities
- a solid regulatory platform that supports business continuity & growth

Internal

- The strategic selection & efficient management of project’s tasks and activities, from contribution to dossiers construction, completing requests with a key role in registration transfers
- Pro-active engagement of & interaction with multiple, country specific Regulatory Authorities concerning product registrations &/or renewals
- Pro-active communication and role model for the corporate values & guiding principles of the BASF Group, both internal & externally
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Pro-actively support & ensure the implementation of the agreed Product Stewardship Strategy - Enthusiastically communicate & champion the values, principles, expected operating procedures & standards associated with Product Stewardship at every level (generate “buy-in” & support from all Agricultural solution colleagues)
- Coordinate artwork creation and maintenance in collaboration with local and regional technical managers and the artworks team locally and in Germany.
- Support to get the necessary authorization related to registration trials and sample importation as well as sample analysis.
- ensure a good preparation related to registration approvals, extensions and specifically transfers and updates. Pro-actively liaise with the relevant registration authorities & steer all necessary regulatory activities to ensure the accurate, timely submission & successful completion of all new registration &/or renewal applications
- the steering of Regulatory Interactions, contributing to the management of multi-national initiatives e.g. GHS
Operational Responsibilities
- Be a role model in all matters concerning compliance, anti-trust & business ethics
- Pro-actively contribute & participate enthusiastically as a member of the North West African team (Agricultural Solutions)
- Pro-actively seek out & contribute to opportunities that increase the positive brand awareness of BASF & its products
- Pro-actively steer & support the maintenance of the current & registration of the future product & service portfolio, with a specific focus on registrations maintaining during different steps and specifically during registration transfers actions.
Qualification & Experience
- A recognised University degree in Agronomy, preferably a BSc Agriculture, Plant Pathology or similar as a minimum
- At least 2 years’ experience in the Agricultural business environment
- An advanced level of technical & Regulatory knowledge regarding crop protection regulations
- Well informed & experienced with farming & related agricultural dynamics in Maghreb Countries
